The C1 has a subtle directional change at the front fins brings the tail in. This tightens your turning radius allowing for rapid top to bottom riding. For optimal performance order the C1 one to two inches shorter than your daily driver.

Design

The C1 features a slightly wider outline then your standard everyday board, increasing your volume and wave count. This fuller outline however meets a directional change just in front of the fins. This subtle tail hip allows for a tighter turning the pocket. The ideal board for chest high conditions enabling more rapid top to bottom surfing with a sharper turning radius. Semi full profiled rails keep the board playful in terms of traction. We gave this model a medium-low rocker. We didn’t want to lower the rocker too much keeping the board versatile and functional for more conditions. Low enough to penetrate through gutless sections yet high enough to curl up into the lip. A single concave blends into a double in the lower half of the board, exiting behind the centre fin in the small flat section. We offer the C1 in multiple tale templates. The most popular option is a slightly widened rounded square tail. A five fin set up keeps all options available in what ever fin system you prefer.
